Sara E. Moran is a Board-Certified Art Therapist, psychotherapist, artist, and advanced level (500hr) yoga instructor. In art therapy sessions Sara utilizes art making and the creative process to assist individuals in the following ways: self expression, emotional regulation, fostering self-esteem, strengthening sense of self, developing a sense of purpose, and processing traumatic events.
Sara has a background in trauma, domestic violence, mental health diagnoses (all ages), substance abuse/addiction, and emotional disturbances. Sara has been working in the field for 20 years and has experience in a variety of settings.
Sara is currently adjunct faculty in the Expressive Therapies department at Lesley University
